This being a temp tattoo that won’t have the same staying power as the semi-permanent, it’s okay. I have three specific issues with it:
First, there’s a residue left behind after the tattoo is applied as compared to other temporary tattoos that work basically the same way. My family participated in a Color Run and got temp tattoos from that event that both looked better & more authentic on the skin and didn’t leave any sticky residue like the Momentary Ink one did.
Second, I think tattoos that are available in various sizes need some kind of adjustment when getting the smaller size: the smaller the tattoo, the thicker the lines to make up for the size difference. The lines appeared extremely small when applied, so it didn’t have the same impact as a larger version would.
Finally, the quality of the actual print was iffy. Instead of the solid lines of the design, I could see the printer lines quite clearly, even with the lines being small due to the print size. I’ve worked with waterslide decals in guitar building, and this temp tattoo applied in basically the same exact way as I would apply a logo to a guitar, but the decals definitely looked better than this one did. The fact that it was smaller with really skinny lines probably helped to not draw as much attention to itself, but at the same time, the tattoo didn’t appear quite as bold as I hoped it would.
It was worth trying this one out so I could see what Momentary Ink has to offer and how their temp tattoos stack up against others I’ve gotten.
